Sequel to Giotto x Reader

It has been 2 days since Giotto died. When you were at his funeral, nobody bothered to talk to you. They knew you were too hurt to even talk to them. They just stared at you as your [eye color] eyes were filled with tears, you almost collapsed from how sad you were. You're lover died, and will never come back.

It has been 3 months since the funeral of your beloved was held. You were the only one left who still couldn't move on. Then one day, the Storm Guardian approached you.

"[Name], how long do you think you're going to cry and sob like this?" He said in a way like he wants to stab you or something.

"I'm f-fine.. Y-you d-don't need to w-worry.."

"You can't even talk properly."

"L-leave m-me alone.."

"Idiot. Do you think that everybody is enjoying your sadness?, everybody's been worried because they think you're going to cut yourself any minute from now."

He left quietly, leaving you alone. He never became nice to you, you remembered how he called you a 'stupid unhealthy woman.'  

Well, you were sort of unhealthy. All you did was eat, sleep, read, and talk to Giotto. But since he's dead, all you did was eat, sleep and cry about Giotto. That was more unhealthy.

Then you understood what G said, Everybody has been worried about you. You have become a burden to them because you had to be a problem, while they had other problems themselves. Then you remembered what Giotto said a long time ago..

"[Name], How about you smile once in a while? I don't like seeing you this sad."

You stopped crying, thinking about what both G and Giotto said.

"G.., Giotto. I vow from now on that I will never be a burden, and I promise to be strong.." You said, looking at Giotto's picture, and thinking about G.

You stared at Giotto's picture again, and then you smiled while tears were still running down your face.

"Giotto, I think I need to move on. I still love you but... I think I love G now." You said while you wiped your tears.

You ran to G's room, and kicking the door open. G accidentally dropped something, you saw a photo of yourself smiling. He was darn right red when you noticed the photo on the floor.

"Oi [Name]! What the hell do you want?! And why did you kick the door!?" He said getting mad.

You laughed and jumped on him crying.

"Yare, yare G! When did you start calling me by my first name?! When the hell did you change?" You said while you laughed.

"Why are you here anyway?!" He said, not answering your question. You looked up, while smiling.

"G.., I love you!!!" You said as you buried your face to his chest.

"What the hell woman?! Are you drunk or something??!!" He couldn't believe what you said, everybody knew you loved Giotto.

"I'm not drunk!! I just love you!" You said, not looking up.

"[Name], I-"

"Let me guess!, You love me as well! That photo of me is proof enough!"

"Damn it woman! Don't finish my sentences for me!"

"I love you too, G!"

You still loved Giotto deep inside, but you love G now. Even so, you will never forget the one who made you smile first.

It has been 5 months since you and G got married, and you were a happy couple.

One day, you went to Giotto's room. You started to explore his room, then you opened a drawer, You saw a letter.

You looked at what was written on the envelope.

"To my beloved, [Full name]."

Seeing your name, seeing Giotto's handwriting, made you remember the past.

You quickly opened the envelope.

"Dear [Name],

   If you're reading this, I have probably passed away already. But I want you to continue to smile, and I want you to fall in love again. Forget about me, and have a happy life, don't cry your heart out just because I died. One day, G will comfort you.

You may be wondering why I said G, well he loves you. He told me about this, but I just smiled. I told him, that he can have you, when I die. He used to stare at a photo of you, and look at us being happy. But now I want to see you two, happy, happy to be with each other. So please, don't cry anymore. And I will always love you, [Full Name].

You smiled as you finished the letter. You stared at the sky, and held the letter tightly.

"Giotto... No matter what you say, I will never forget you."
